Around the sporting competition at the BOSS German Padel Open presented by SIXT, fans had the opportunity to experience the entertainment character of the up-and-coming sport up close with various activities. "Our goal is to position padel as a lifestyle product and make it tangible, so that people around the event can feel the very special padel vibe," said tournament director Dominik Beier.

In the fan zone in front of the CASTELLO, for example, fans were able to pick up a padle racket themselves on an outdoor padel court.

In cooperation with partners, there were further exciting activities: The Cupra car brand not only set the mood at center court via a DJ booth, but also offered exciting experiences in a virtual reality experience in the fan zone.

Meanwhile, SIXT provided a real eye-catcher: the event's presenting partner rolled up with a glass truck in which fans could engage in "one on one" padel duels in front of the CASTELLO.

In between the games, the stars were close to the German audience, such as Agustin Tapía, who took time for an autograph session with partner Nox shortly before his semifinal match.
